Winter In the Park is Back!

Grab your gear -- Winter in the Park is HereOh (cold) snap! It’s in the 50s-60s in Central Florida and Winter on the Park is back just in time for you to enjoy the cooler weather by dusting off those old blades. I was pretty happy to see this little note on the Orlando Sentinel on my doorstep yesterday. I got so excited that I brought out my boots and scarf in preparation!

Check out this year’s festivities, going on between now and Sunday, January 11, 2015. To see the event website, click here >>

2014 Winter on the Park

Hosted in beautiful Winter Park, bring your ice skates out to the rink on the corner of New York Avenue and Morse Boulevard or stroll down Park Avenue to see the festive holiday window decor from some of our favorite local stores.

While a lot of people think ice skating when they hear “Winter in the Park,” that’s really just the tip of the iceberg.

Once you have your ticket, you can win prizes. The Disney giveaway station is giving away a big-as-life Frozen snow globe and an early-release copy of the official Frozen Sing-Along DVD. There will also be Maleficent and Planes-themed giveaways as well (but, only this opening weekend).
