Now that the Thanksgiving festivities are taken care of, it is finally time for Christmas – decorating the tree, addressing holiday cards, baking cookies and cakes, wrapping presents, sappy Lifetime and Hallmark Channel Christmas movies, and enjoying the remaining weeks of 2017 with family and friends!! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is one of Orlando’s biggest holiday merriments of all time! Every year, Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is transformed into a holiday haven. This year Queen Elsa decks Cinderella’s magical castle to the nines with icy-glittering lights. Christmas at Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center

During Christmas at Gaylord Palms, get into the spirit with holiday attractions and extravagant displays which include over 2 million twinkling Christmas lights and larger-than-life decorations. Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Friday November 24th – Sunday January 7th

Wizards and Muggles alike can experience Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley for the first time ever! Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure have both been transformed with wonderous holiday spirit. Marvel at the live retelling of Dr. Seuss’s classic holiday tale starring The Grinch as the Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular returns. The minions join Santa with merry mayhem in the all-new Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s. Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade, and Hogwarts castle have been transformed with festive décor & garland, and brilliant lighting. 36th Annual Light Up Mount Dora

Saturday November 25th

Celebrate the holidays this Saturday November 25th at the 36th Annual Light Up Mount Dora. Over 2 million sparkling lights will light up Donnelly Park and downtown Mount Dora with a spectacular show of traditional Christmas songs, exhilarating dances, and much more! Festivities begin at 5:00PM and at 6:30PM the lights come on. Location of the event is Donnelly Park at 530 N. Donnelly St. Free admission to the public. Celebration “Now Snowing 2017” – Celebration, FL

Saturday November 25th

This month-long celebration of snow kicks off this Saturday November 25th in gorgeous downtown Celebration, FL. Guests can enjoy the magical tree lighting ceremony and the very first snowfall of 2017, as well as live holiday music, train rides, enchanting horse drawn carriage rides, ice skating, Dickens Christmas carolers, and the much-anticipated arrival of Santa Claus! Epcot International Festival of the Holidays – Holidays Around the World

Sunday November 19th – Saturday December 30th

This international celebration at Epcot’s World Showcase allows visitors to learn about the diverse holiday traditions around the world, from Hanukkah to the Chinese New Year, to Christmas. Performers, dressed in immaculate country-original costumes, teach parkgoers about the various traditions of the nations around the world; including beautiful native music selections and festive holiday décor. Two of the highlighted performances are “Joyful! A Gospel Celebration of the Season” and the Candlelight Processional (led by a celebrity narrator, with an enormous choir and 50-piece orchestra). During Holidays Around the World, Epcot’s evening fireworks and laser water show, Illuminations: Reflections of Earth, also includes its very own seasonal makeover. Ticket prices vary. SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration

SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration features a lit-up sea of tree sparkles over the main lake in a wintery & watery wonderland. World-famous skaters twirl on ice while parkgoers enjoy festive food & shopping, stunning live shows, and delightful entertainment inspired by the natural world.  Make new holiday memories – stroll around the lakeside Christmas Market and savor the scents of delicious food & delectable holiday treats while shopping for unique, artisan-crafted gifts. Tree Lighting Celebration – Walt Disney Amphitheater at Lake Eola Park

Begins Friday December 1st

The City of Orlando’s annual Tree Lighting Celebration at Lake Eola Park’s Walt Disney Amphitheater starts Friday December 1st at 5:00PM. The highlight of this family-friendly event is the lighting of the city’s six-story Christmas tree (72-feet!), featuring 88,000 animated lights, by Mayor Buddy Dyer. The event also includes live entertainment and holiday music, vendor booths, and the scrumptious food of Food Truck Bazaar. Following the first lighting of the season, the Holiday Celebration Stage Show finale will begin. Performances begin at 5PM at the Amphitheater, and the Tree Lighting Ceremony will begin at 7PM. The show runs every hour until 9:45PM. The Salvation Army will be at the event collecting monetary donations which will supply children in need with toys this holiday season. Unable to make it to the tree lighting ceremony? No worries – you can catch the synchronized light and music Christmas Tree Show each night starting at 5:45PM. Free to the public. Winter on the Avenue – Winter Park

Kickoff the holidays on Friday December 1st with Park Avenue’s Winter Park holiday festivities from 5:00PM – 10:00PM. Park Avenue’s winter wonderland street party includes the annual tree lighting, snowmaking fun, Christmas carolers, and a visit from Santa Claus! The Winter Park Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the City of Winter Park, Park Avenue Merchants Association, and the Enzian Theater to bring this “flurry” of entertainment to the Winter Park community. The Nutcracker Tea Party and The Nutcracker – Russian Ballet Orlando

Saturday December 2nd

The Calvary Assembly celebrates the holiday season with the ever-so-famous ballet – The Nutcracker, and the Nutcracker Tea Party. The Tea Party is from 4:30PM – 5:30PM and the Nutcracker performance begins at 6:00PM. This timeless classic of a tale of hope, imagination, and excitement features treasured characters, stunning costumes, special effects such as an onstage blizzard, and of course the timeless choreography and extraordinary Tchaikovsky arrangement performed by the world famous Russian Ballet Orlando. This performance is focused on incorporating community, interacting with the audience, and creating a family-friendly environment for everyone. Tea party $10.00 per person.
